Hello, my name is Peter Scala, President of Parkway Exterminating and BCE (Board Certified Entomologist).  The termite swarm you may be experiencing is a biological necessity of reproductive termites, which occurs during this time of the year. THERE IS NO REASON TO PANIC! 

These reproductives are attempting to get out of the house.  They do not do damage, do not bite or sting and within a short period of time will shed their wings and die.  Vacuuming them is the safest immediate solution for now.  Please note, there is no quick fix and searching the yellow pages or the Internet for a company to correct this immediately will result in you paying considerably more money than necessary for immediate service, which will not stop the swarming. 

Termite control requires treatment of the source condition, which is in the ground.  These Swarmers are already above the soil, in a wall void waiting for the correct atmospheric conditions to swarm.  Nothing will stop this but be thankful that you are experiencing this condition for now it is apparent that there is infestation in your home.  Once again do not panic!
